I ‘liked’ this and then scrolled down and saw that the photo had cut off ‘sailor’ from the rest of the poem. I know it doesn’t fit the ‘structure’ of a haiku but ending with just ‘wooden sea’ really spins the attention around – the driftwood as petrified flow, the sea as flow petrified …
Either way I am liking your work – it appears straight onto the retina
