sounds improbable
perhaps made up
even the radiologist
laughed (before):
“everybody thinks
they see a
brain
tumor
on their MRI”
maybe just
for sympathy
or attention, what better
way to make
people feel sorry
for you? really,
who talks about
it? If it was true,
you’d just be silent,
depressed, dying,
figuring out why you,
why YOU? so we’ll
silently nod our heads
in doubtful sympathy,
noting your normal
face, and we’ll keep
our doubts quiet
while
you
are
still
here
So very powerful Sarah, and beautifully you. ♥
Thank you, Heidi, dear friend ❤

Your hugs mean more than you know, dear Mike ❤
If I could
I would hug you healthy
and I wouldn’t let go
until you asked me too
and only then
with reluctance
I would never ask you to let go.
i have not the words to say but many loving thoughts and prayers and hugs.
Thank you very much for your loving thoughts, prayers, and hugs. They are truly appreciated ❤
My very best friend had a glioblastoma. They caught it at stage 4. She “looked” fine and so it is that your poem resonates with me. Blessings to you, your journey, and your beautiful work.
Thank you for reading and commenting and for your kind words and prayers and love for your friend.
thank you very much….
Sarah, you are inspirational. My very best wishes to you.

We can never know what is below the surface. So we need to think before we comment. Some of us hide our problems very well. But deep sown inside, the platitudes can really hurt.
Really enjoyed reading this and thank you for visiting my blog. May poetry and faith bring us closer to a healthy healing process
yes, thank you for visiting. It is so lovely to be able to share around the world, isn’t it?
It is indeed, the world is a small place and we shall cross path in words if not in person !
yes 🙂
I just spent approximately ten minutes staring at the screen trying to figure out what to say. I still don’t know.
I hope my wishing you well is adequate.
I feel your kindness and support. Thank you 🙂
