a thousand miles
down the shore, I walked
before the gulls weary wings
and mine, we rested
by walking the sea’s remember
you once walked here, too
before broken shells
and words, winter’s bite
echoes of tidal times
moon phases, things
you can count on
you
disappeared
one set of footprints in sand
even the waves know
erase it all
quickly, so we don’t
look back, so stark
these clouds who used
to gather down, they look
away now, just me
a one way trip
I’ll go quietly
so, so powerful. the isolation we all feel at times. i hope you know you are never alone – your life has touched mine.
thank you very much for your kind words 🙂
As always, a masterpiece in imagery and verse . . . You are SO gifted . . .
Peter, you are one of my greatest (and kindest) supporters. Thank you, my friend 🙂

Thank you very much for the reblog!
You don’t post as much as you used to – maybe putting your inspiration into your publication – understandable. I always love to see your images and read your words. Cheers!
I need to post more! Life has gotten in the way of writing, but I am hoping to correct that soon. Thanks for stopping by and for your kind words 🙂
