a shade of green
for every promise
that summer makes
a shade of green
for every promise
that summer makes
reaching, but
mornings she knew
only white
childhood days
upside down
reflections
beginning ~
you will soar the sky
bird whispers
grandfather
generations of time
wooden heart beats
through bricks and wood
of time, heavy yesterdays
~ but, still, the light
I count sunsets ~
sea beams float cloud songs
infinite days
sand holds
last days of summer
taken by tides
sea collects sun
swirl of vibrant harmony
golden hues of time
sunflower faces
search the fields all summer
red barn looks on
carefree mornings
sandy days, low tide children,
shadows behind
fleeting time
the golden hour
moving still
riding the rails
turn of the century
wheels of remember
leaning in
green grass bonds
innate companions
she hears
the salt of time
through her eyes
curves around
sky circles clouds
world takes shape
the sea calling
man answers, humbled
in the background
echoes my mind
caught in between time
floating in escape
Grand Canyon
twilight and its blue
above and within
archways
lending light
cathedral
memories
of time gone by
Rolls Royce reflections
Hi Friends. I’d like to share two recent publications, so you might go check out the poems as well as the wonderful journals in which they are included. I don’t write much haiku, but two of them were selected for publication recently, one in the latest issue of Paper Wasp and one in the next issue of Heron’s Nest. Please check out these fine publications if you get the chance!
